TMA 98/99 South Africa

The Rainbow Nation
In December of 1998 I went on a six week mission trip to South Africa with Teen Missions Australia. The team assembled for ten days training at Boot Camp in Tewantin, Queensland, Australia before flying to South Africa via Malaysia. The two main projects that we carried out in South Africa were tiling of the main auditorium at the Teen Missions South Africa Boot Camp and completing a church building that the a South African Teen Missions’ team had begun building. We also got the opportunity to go on a safari through Kruger National Park. The mission trip was a great experience and inspired me to go on another one the following year.
